Create Contact Clubs between Belgium, Luxembourg and Indonesia and beyond.

Give You access to the ROTARY ICC ASEAN (RICCA) which consists of 11 countries - Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.  

The Rotary Intercountry Committee Belgium Luxembourg Indonesia is a platform dedicated to encouraging closer and fruitful collaboration between Rotary and Rotaract clubs in these two regions. Our mission is to promote the spirit of international service and mutual understanding through collaborative projects, cultural exchanges and humanitarian initiatives.

An Eloquent Example of International Collaboration

On May 30, 2024, a global fellowship dinner was held in Yogyakarta, bringing together 23 Rotarians from six different Rotary clubs, in the presence of the Governor-Elect of District 1590, Francie Kaajik, and her husband Maartens. This event was an opportunity to share ideas, strengthen bonds of friendship and present innovative projects aimed at improving the quality of life of local communities.

Here are some of the projects presented during this dinner:  

1. Multiple Vertical Drainages

An innovative project for organic waste management in Yogyakarta. This eco-friendly solution aims to reduce the environmental impact of waste by transforming organic waste into usable resources, while improving local waste management infrastructure.

2. Global Grant for Stunting Reduction in Sleman Regency

The project aims to combat the delay in the passage of children in the Sleman region. Thanks to a global grant, nutrition, health and education programs will be implemented to improve the well-being of affected children and families.

3. Biopharmacy Apprenticeship Program

An educational program for biopharmacy alumni, providing opportunities for advanced learning and research in this crucial field. This project aims to strengthen local capacities and promote scientific innovation.

4. Early Detection of Heart Diseases in Children

A health center project for the prevention of heart disease in children. In collaboration with local medical institutions, the project aims to identify and identify heart problems in major states, thereby improving the health prospects of young patients.

5. Scholarships

Scholarships for deserving students provide educational opportunities to those who need them most. This project aims to support education and encourage the talents of young people to achieve their full academic potential.
